TotalEnergies and Stellantis have renewed and broadened their long-standing engine oil and lubricant partnership in Europe, strengthening a relationship that traces its origins back more than five decades to the collaboration between TotalEnergies and Citroën.

Previously renewed in 2021 to support the Peugeot, Citroën, DS Automobiles, Opel, and Vauxhall brands, the agreement has now been extended to encompass all ten Stellantis brands in Europe, including Fiat, Jeep, Lancia, Alfa Romeo, Abarth, Citroën, DS Automobiles, Opel, Vauxhall, and Peugeot.

Pierre Duhot, Senior Vice President of Lubricants at TotalEnergies, said the expanded agreement marks a new milestone in the partnership, extending collaboration across the entire Stellantis brand portfolio. He noted that the renewed commitment reflects a shared vision of delivering more sustainable and efficient mobility solutions, built upon over 50 years of technical innovation and mutual trust.

Francesco Abbruzzesi, Head of Parts and Services for Stellantis Enlarged Europe, said the strengthened alliance demonstrates both companies’ dedication to quality, innovation, and sustainability. He added that the partnership combines deep technical expertise with a future-focused approach aimed at addressing the evolving needs of customers and the automotive industry.

The collaboration is structured around four key areas: research and development, motorsport activities, after-sales support, and sustainability initiatives. As part of these efforts, TotalEnergies Lubrifiants introduced Quartz EV3R 10W-40 in 2024, which the company describes as the first manufacturer-approved engine oil formulated entirely from regenerated base oils and the first sustainable lubricant developed in partnership with Stellantis’ SUSTAINera program.

Building on this momentum, the two companies are launching a new co-branded engine oil portfolio comprising the TotalEnergies Quartz Mopar and TotalEnergies Quartz EV3R Mopar SUSTAINera product lines. Both lubricant ranges have received approval under Stellantis’ latest FPW harmonized specifications and are recommended for use throughout Stellantis service networks, including original equipment (OE) applications, warranty servicing, and routine vehicle maintenance.
