The new portfolio features Shell Spirax S4 GX 75W90, Shell Advance AX8 5W30, and Shell Rimula Pick-Up—each tailored to specific vehicle categories and performance requirements.
Shell Spirax S4 GX 75W90 marks the debut of Shell’s first synthetic gear oil under the Spirax category in India. Formulated with premium base oils and advanced additives, it provides improved gearbox protection, smoother gear shifts, and long-term cost benefits. The product meets API GL-4 and ZF-TE-ML-08 standards and is approved by major OEMs, including Suzuki, Hyundai, and Tata.
Shell Advance AX8 5W30 is designed for the rapidly expanding BS VI scooter segment, offering comprehensive 360-degree engine protection ideal for urban commuting. It comes in a 600 ml black bottle made entirely from post-consumer recycled plastic, reflecting Shell’s sustainability-driven approach.
Shell Rimula Pick-Up has been formulated specifically for pickup trucks operating in urban traffic conditions, ensuring extended drain intervals and consistent performance for both BS IV and BS VI engines.
Additionally, Shell recently launched Shell Helix Ultra, featuring its proprietary PurePlus Technology, which transforms natural gas into 99.5% pure base oil. This innovation delivers up to 1.8% more engine power, 3.4% improved responsiveness, and full engine power retention, enabling smoother drives, greater fuel efficiency, and long-term engine durability.
