PETRONAS Lubricants International has introduced its new flagship PETRONAS Pro Series, a range of industrial lubricants, during a trade engagement event held in Kuala Lumpur.
PETRONAS Lubricants International (PLI) has introduced its new flagship industrial lubricant range, the PETRONAS Pro Series, during a trade engagement event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The launch consolidates a portfolio of application-focused industrial solutions under a unified brand. The initial rollout includes four key product lines: PETRONAS ProKomp for high-stability industrial air compressor oils, PETRONAS ProGris for heavy-duty greases suited to demanding environments, PETRONAS ProGear for industrial gearbox transmission lubricants, and PETRONAS ProHyd for premium hydraulic fluids designed for high-pressure systems.
Speaking at the launch, Udaya Kumar, Group Industrial Managing Director at PLI, said the new range reinforces the company’s commitment to industry professionals and to advancing a more efficient, reliable, and sustainable industrial landscape. He noted that the streamlined portfolio is designed to simplify access to PLI’s technologies and enable partners to focus on operational performance.
According to PLI, all products in the Pro Series are built on PETRONAS Fluid Technology Solutions, a proprietary platform developed through extensive research and development, as well as motorsports expertise—particularly through its collaboration with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team.
The PETRONAS Pro Series has already been launched in India and Brazil as part of a phased global rollout, with additional markets expected to follow. The new range complements PLI’s existing portfolio, which includes brands such as PETRONAS Syntium, PETRONAS Sprinta, PETRONAS Urania, PETRONAS Iona, PETRONAS Arbor, and PETRONAS Tutela.
PLI is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur and operates globally, with offices in Turin (Italy), Belo Horizonte (Brazil), Beijing (China), and Chicago (United States).
