Valvoline Cummins Private Limited, the joint venture between Valvoline Global Operations and Cummins India, has entered into a new four-year strategic collaboration with Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., strengthening its role as the automaker’s primary lubricants supplier.

Under the agreement, Valvoline Cummins will supply the majority of Mahindra’s aftermarket lubricant requirements—including engine oils, transmission oils, and axle oils—marketed under the Mahindra Maximile brand. These products will be distributed nationwide through Mahindra’s extensive dealership and spares network.

The partnership builds on a relationship spanning more than 20 years, during which Valvoline has been a trusted supplier to Mahindra’s domestic aftermarket business. As part of the new phase, Valvoline will develop tailored solutions for Mahindra’s passenger vehicles, SUVs, and pickup trucks across northern, western, and eastern India.

Both companies have also committed to advancing sustainability initiatives, including the adoption of post-consumer recycled packaging across Valvoline’s supply chain for Mahindra, aligning with broader environmental objectives.

Sandeep Kalia, Managing Director of Valvoline Cummins, called the agreement a significant milestone that reinforces trust and unlocks new growth opportunities. Michael Dreyer, Senior Vice President and General Manager, APAC at Valvoline Global Operations, added that the collaboration brings together two trusted brands with a shared focus on performance, innovation, and sustainability—positioning Valvoline to support Mahindra’s global growth ambitions.
