South Korean automaker Kia Corporation has extended its global partnership with TotalEnergies for another five years, continuing a collaboration that has spanned over two decades and will now run through 2031.

As part of the renewed agreement, TotalEnergies’ Quartz engine oils will remain available to Kia customers and dealerships worldwide, ensuring continued access to advanced lubrication solutions throughout the vehicle ownership lifecycle.

The agreement was formalized at Kia’s Osan Training Center in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, with Dong-Hwan Hwang and Elodie Luce representing their respective organizations.

Hwang noted that extending the partnership strengthens Kia’s global competitiveness, while also enhancing service quality, supporting its sustainability ambitions, and delivering greater value to customers. Meanwhile, Luce highlighted that this fourth consecutive term reflects a shared commitment to developing next-generation lubricant technologies tailored to evolving powertrains, including hybrid and electric vehicles.

Kia and TotalEnergies initially entered into a global cooperation agreement in 2011 and have renewed it every five years since.
