Hyundai XTeer designates Petrotek as the sole distributor in Vietnam

Petrotek Vietnam Co., Ltd., in partnership with HD Hyundai Oilbank, hosted the Hyundai XTeer 2026 Lubricant Distributor Conference on April 22, bringing together partners from across its nationwide distribution network.

The event took place amid a highly dynamic lubricant market in Vietnam, marked by price volatility, supply chain challenges, and strong competition between local and global brands. In this context, the company emphasized that establishing a stable, transparent, and sustainable distribution network is critical for long-term business growth.

During the conference, Petrotek and HD Hyundai Oilbank formalized a strategic cooperation agreement, appointing Petrotek as the exclusive distributor of Hyundai XTeer lubricants in Vietnam.

Speaking at the event, Nguyen Huu Duc, General Director of Petrotek, noted that the agreement not only strengthens the partnership between the two companies but also marks a significant step toward building a structured and sustainable distribution system for Hyundai XTeer. He added that the goal is to develop the market with transparency, enabling distributors to invest and expand with long-term confidence.

Representing HD Hyundai Oilbank, Kim Jong Jin, Vice President of the group, highlighted Vietnam as a key market in the company’s broader Asian growth strategy. He expressed confidence that Petrotek’s market expertise and execution capabilities make it the ideal partner to grow the Hyundai XTeer brand sustainably in the country.

Looking ahead to 2026, Petrotek plans to focus on three core areas: expanding its distribution network, strengthening market control, and enhancing marketing support for distributors. Its product portfolio will be segmented into industrial lubricants, automotive and motorcycle engine oils, and related accessories, with tailored sales strategies for different market segments and regions.

To boost brand visibility, marketing efforts will be intensified through retail signage, outdoor promotions, vehicle branding, and media campaigns.

Beyond commercial activities, both Hyundai XTeer and Petrotek are also engaged in community initiatives, including support for flood-affected regions in Central Vietnam, free oil change programs, and partnerships with grassroots sports events.

Through this conference, the two companies aim to deepen trust within their distribution network while entering a new phase of growth for the Hyundai XTeer brand in Vietnam.
