Engen has expanded its lubricants portfolio with the launch of its new Grease Tubes range, introducing a convenient tube-based packaging format for three of its grease products designed for automotive, industrial, and general maintenance applications.
Engen has expanded its lubricants portfolio with the launch of its new Grease Tubes range, introducing a convenient tube-based packaging format for three of its grease products designed for automotive, industrial, and general maintenance applications.
The new range includes Engen CV Joint Grease, Engen Wheel Bearing Grease, and Engen General Purpose Grease, each engineered to meet specific performance requirements. Engen CV Joint Grease is formulated for use in constant-velocity joints, universal joints, and chassis lubrication, offering strong resistance to water ingress and shock loading. Engen Wheel Bearing Grease is designed for wheel bearings, water-pump bearings, and boat-trailer applications where exposure to moisture is common. Meanwhile, Engen General Purpose Grease provides water resistance and corrosion protection for a wide range of automotive, industrial, and household maintenance tasks.
According to Melissa Graham, Business-to-Consumer Sales Marketing Manager for Lubricants at Engen, the new packaging was developed to enhance customer convenience and ease of use. The grease tubes feature distinct colour coding to help users quickly identify the appropriate product for their specific application.
Graham also highlighted that the General Purpose Grease and CV Joint Grease are formulated using anhydrous calcium technology, which offers a lower-carbon-footprint alternative to conventional lithium-based grease formulations. The Wheel Bearing Grease continues to be offered as a proven and well-established product within the company's portfolio.
The tube-and-nozzle design is intended to provide cleaner, more precise application while simplifying storage. As grease performance can be compromised by contamination from moisture and dirt, the sealed tube format helps protect product integrity and improve overall handling.
The Grease Tubes range will be available through selected Engen service stations, automotive aftermarket retailers, major retail outlets, and authorised lubricant distributors across the country.
