Brenntag Specialties and ExxonMobil have renewed and expanded their long-standing distribution agreement for white oils across the EMEA region, strengthening a partnership that has existed for over two decades.

Under the renewed agreement, the distribution network has been extended beyond its current coverage of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Central and Eastern Europe, and the Baltics to now also include Iberia, the Netherlands, and Israel. Brenntag will continue to supply ExxonMobil’s white oils through its cleanroom facility in Hamburg, Germany, ensuring adherence to European GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards and maintaining safe handling protocols.
ExxonMobil’s white oils, marketed under the Marcol™ and Primol™ brands, are widely used in pharmaceuticals, personal care, food processing, agriculture, and industrial manufacturing. These products meet major regulatory standards, including USP, FDA, and EU directives, making them suitable for a variety of high-specification and large-scale applications.
Joakim Rehné, Regional President Pharma EMEA at Brenntag, emphasised the strength of the collaboration, highlighting its reliability, technical expertise, and market reach. “We are proud of our long-standing relationship with ExxonMobil, built on trust, and are excited to continue serving as their branded distributor in an even broader range of countries,” he stated.
Sinem Sani, EAME Specialties Sales Manager at ExxonMobil, noted that the expansion will enhance customer access to high-quality white oils, supporting innovation and ensuring consistent supply across strategic markets. “This agreement is crucial in improving accessibility for a wide range of customers through Brenntag’s strong distribution network,” she added.
The renewed partnership reinforces Brenntag’s position as a strategic distributor of ExxonMobil’s white oil portfolio, enabling customised supply chain solutions and technical support for customers in over 30 countries.
