Repsol extends its exclusive distribution agreement for lubricants in South Korea

Repsol Lubricants has extended its exclusive distribution agreement with Green B Co. Ltd. in South Korea for an additional three years, reinforcing its growth strategy across the Asia-Pacific region.

Under the renewed arrangement, Green B will continue as the exclusive distributor of Repsol’s automotive lubricants in South Korea. The partnership, which began in 2024, is focused on strengthening sales performance and expanding brand visibility in one of the region’s most competitive lubricants markets.

Repsol stated that the renewal reflects the positive outcomes achieved during the initial phase of collaboration, including improved sales momentum and increased brand recognition. South Korea remains a strategically important market within Repsol’s global lubricants portfolio.

The agreement was formalised at a signing ceremony held at the Repsol Campus in Madrid, Spain. The event was attended by Yang Seung-ho, Chief Executive Officer of Green B Co. Ltd., and Javier Martín, Head of Repsol Lubricants for Asia-Pacific.

Yang noted that the renewed agreement creates further growth opportunities despite intense market competition, adding that Green B plans to expand its market reach and strengthen customer relationships. Martín highlighted Repsol’s confidence in Green B’s local market knowledge, describing the partnership as central to building and expanding the Repsol Lubricants brand in South Korea.

Repsol added that the agreement supports its distribution strategy, which combines advanced lubricants technology and a broad product portfolio with the market access and expertise of strong local partners.
