Mumbai-based Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd. (GOLIL) has announced strategic partnerships with three leading construction equipment manufacturers—ACE (Action Construction Equipment Ltd.), Ammann India, and XCMG—to supply OEM-approved lubricants tailored for India’s infrastructure sector and demanding operating environments.
The collaborations are aimed at strengthening Gulf’s footprint in the construction and infrastructure segment by delivering specialized lubricant solutions engineered for a wide range of construction equipment operating under Indian conditions.
Gulf’s partnership with ACE builds on a long-standing relationship, with the company expanding the ACE Genuine Oil range through the introduction of new lubricant products. These formulations are designed for ACE’s diverse equipment portfolio, including cranes, backhoe loaders, compactors, motor graders, forklifts, tractors, and harvesters.
Under its agreement with Ammann India—an industry leader with more than 60% market share in asphalt mixing plants—Gulf has been appointed the official lubricants partner for Ammann’s entire equipment range. The partnership includes the supply of products under the Ammann Genuine Oil brand, along with plans to co-develop specialized lubricants for future equipment platforms.
Gulf has also entered into a collaboration with XCMG, a global construction equipment manufacturer, to introduce XCMG-branded genuine lubricants in the Indian market.
Commenting on the developments, Ravi Chawla, Managing Director and CEO of Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd., said infrastructure has been a strategic focus area for the company for more than 15 years. He noted that partnerships with leading OEMs will enable Gulf to provide application-specific lubricant solutions that enhance equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and reduce total cost of ownership.
Gulf currently maintains over 50 OEM partnerships across the automotive, industrial, and construction sectors and continues to report consistent double-digit growth in this segment.
Alongside the OEM alliances, the company has launched a new range of lubricants, including Fire-Resistant Hydraulic Oil, Energy-Efficient Zinc-Free Hydraulic Oil, CEV V Diesel Engine Oil, synthetic lubricants, and Synthetic Gear Oil 75W90.
Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd., part of the Hinduja Group and Gulf Oil International, operates manufacturing and R&D facilities in Silvassa and Ennore, Chennai. The company has a nationwide distribution network and exports its products to more than 25 countries.
