Lubrizol Corporation, headquartered in Wickliffe, Ohio, U.S.A., has inaugurated its new Southeast Asia Innovation Centre in Jurong, Singapore, marking a significant step in expanding its regional footprint and driving industry-specific innovation. This cutting-edge facility is a key addition to Lubrizol’s global innovation network, reflecting the company’s commitment to closer collaboration and delivering market-ready solutions tailored to Southeast Asia.

This cutting-edge facility is a key addition to Lubrizol’s global innovation network, reflecting the company’s commitment to closer collaboration and delivering market-ready solutions tailored to Southeast Asia.


Covering 15,000 square metres across several floors, the Centre houses state-of-the-art laboratories, interactive experience zones, and purpose-built areas for technical training and knowledge sharing. Lubrizol’s regional scientists and product teams will harness local R&D expertise, data-driven insights, and cross-functional collaboration to develop impactful solutions across various sectors, including mobility, infrastructure, digital technology, mining, personal care, and healthcare.


The launch was backed by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), further cementing Singapore’s role as a key innovation, advanced manufacturing, and sustainability hub in the region.


Henry Liu, Vice President of Lubrizol Asia Pacific, emphasized that this investment reflects the company’s strong regional commitment and focus on co-developing technologies aligned with evolving market needs. Lubrizol President and CEO Rebecca Liebert noted that Singapore’s dynamic R&D landscape and robust stakeholder ecosystem make it an ideal base for the new Innovation Centre.
